Sneak Peek

Students from minoritized backgrounds face a variety of obstacles as they advance through the academic pipeline. Our Sneak Peek program provides one-on-one mentorship through the graduate school application process to trainees from underrepresented backgrounds. Additional programming includes panels on personal statement writing, graduate student life, interview preparation and clinical psychology. Learn more, or apply for the upcoming program:

Our committee seeks to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students, staff, fellows, and faculty in the department. Members of the committee lead various initiatives aimed at addressing issues of diversity and accessibility (including issues of gender, race and ethnicity, sexual orientation, and disability status). Read more about our past and present initiatives below:

Over time, we have compiled resources created by our committee for the Psychology Department at Yale, including diversity and accessibility statements, and best practices, as well as relevant outside resources. Learn more about any of these resources below:

Meeting Minutes from DEI Committee Meetings can be found here.

The Yale Psychology department is committed to making our talks accessible to all who wish to attend. If you have an access-related need, please see here.
